Providing basic and higher education curriculum for both scientific and professional interests, freedom of expression, students should be the center of learning process in a scientific and scholarly condition, this can be obtained through doing academic researches, developing the educational and learning process, providing productive environment and skillful lectures and researchers that can fulfil what the university academic staff and students should be. The University of Azmar was founded in 2003 as a regional university providing educational excellence in the sulaymaneyah District
Our goal is to provide a resource for people in this region to be able to join the development of scientific and technological knowledge
We also have many programs to support the development of our teaching and administrative staff to improve overall teaching quality and academic research which will benefit students directly and also promote the standing of the University.
Finally, we seek to open channels of communication, both within Kurdistan and abroad, with other institutions of Higher Education in order to give our students
For our students, we strive to provide an optimal educational environment in which you may succeed, but we also ask from you your utmost attention to your studies and your scientific development so that you can contribute to the development and enlightenment of our country, province and district.
The Registration Directorate (Equivalent to Registrar’s Office) is responsible for maintaining all academic-related records and information regarding students who are enrolled at the University of azmar. Once any student is admitted, their information must be collected by the Registrar. All their classes, grades, and any other academically relevant information is then maintained in their record until, at graduation, the Registrar must confirm whether the student had completed all requirements for their degree.
